Future Leaders Program

The Libertarian Party Future Leaders Program is an unprecedented opportunity for university, TAFE, and similar students eager to immerse themselves in real-world experiences. Spanning six weeks, with a one day per week commitment, this program helps to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Successful participants will have the opportunity to work with some of our biggest freedom fighters; getting hands on experience and transforming their education into real life skills.

Eligibility

This program is open to young adults who want to gain valuable experience applying what they have learned in their studies to a real-world environment. It is intended for freedom lovers who want to build up experience doing valuable work experience for Australia’s home of freedom, the Libertarian Party.

Upon Successful Completion of Program

When participants in the program successfully complete it to a satisfactory or greater standard, they will receive a testament to their dedication and growth – a signed reference letter outlining the acquired skills and benefits they bring to future employers.

The Future Leaders Program application period has expired for April 2024 placements. If you would like express your interest for future programs throughout Australia (planned for late 2024), please click the link below.

 

Successful applicants MUST have the following:

  • Between the age of 18-25 years old
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident 
  • Available to perform 8-16 hours per week, Monday to Friday for six weeks
  • MUST NOT be a current member of a federal or state political party (excluding the Libertarian Party)


Applicants DO NOT need the following, but it may benefit their applications:

  • Study/recently completed studies at a tertiary level, a subject relevant to the program 
  • History of volunteer activity for the Libertarian Party or other Liberty-aligned organisations 
  • Identifies as Libertarian OR a similar philosophy (e.g. Anarcho-capitalism) 
  • Financial member of the Libertarian Party
