On the 8th of March 2020, officials from NSW Health allowed infected passengers from the cruise ship "Ruby Princess" disembark. Out of fear of the spread of COVID-19 across the community, the NSW Government enforced a lockdown and granted itself and NSW Police emergency powers which are still in force today.
One year on individual, families and businesses across our state have felt the disastrous effects of this failure by NSW Health. Even an inquiry saw no accountability by the Premier, Health Minister or Health Department - just sweeping the events under the rug.
Please join us at Burwood RSL where we will be holding an open forum on the catalyst of the greatest infringement on our rights and liberties: the Ruby Princess debacle.
