On Saturday 29^th June 2019 the Liberal Democrats Queensland Chapter are holding their Annual General Meeting at the Connor Court Book Shop 146 Boundary Street, West End, commencing at 10am.

The AGM is your opportunity to hear what the party has been doing in the past twelve months, what it has achieved over this time and what is planned for the future. It is also your opportunity, as a financial member, to elect the 2019/20 State Executive. This year, four positions on the State Executive have been pronounced vacant therefore you have the opportunity to either nominate yourself or nominate another member for these positions (see attached nomination form).

Only financial members can vote for the nominees, therefore if you are yet to become a financial member so you can exercise your voting right please go to the membership page on the website to complete the relevant form and make payment.

The formal part of the AGM will include tabling the 2018 AGM minutes, tabling a number of State Executive reports and then election of the Executive. Following this, and time permitting, we will have a short strategic discussion. The AGM will close at 12 noon and we will adjourn to Covent Gardens Gin Bar and Restaurant, 142 Boundary Street, West End (next door). The Owners have given us a set menu price of $39.00 / head (individual payments allowed) and located us in in their back area. Drinks are not included in this price however you are more than welcome to purchase any number of the 200+ domestic and international Gins.
