Join us for beers, pub grub, and a whole lot of talk about liberty!

ACT Liberal Democrats social meetings are open to the public, so feel “free” to drop in and say g’day to the Canberra executive and members.

We enjoyed a great turnout at our 5 July event (featuring guest speaker Mark Parton MLA) and it’s terrific to see so many Canberrans, young and old, joining the call for liberty!

We’ll be announcing speakers for our next meeting very soon. We’ve invited community council reps from around the ACT to speak on the issues of greatest concern among their town centres and suburbs. The ACT Liberal Democrats recognise the important role Canberra’s (non-govt) councils play in representing community interests and we look forward to hearing how they think the ACT is developing as a city.

In preparation for the upcoming federal election, we’ll also be calling on members to pledge their support to the Liberal Democrats. If you would like to dedicate some time/skills/resources to the next election campaign we would be very grateful for your contribution. Heck, if you feel truly passionate about freedom, why not consider running as a candidate? Either way, we’d love to hear from you!
