Tegan Grainger
Senate Candidate for QLD

Tegan was born in Warrnambool in country Victoria where she spent her childhood, before moving to Brisbane with her family as a teenager. She undertook her secondary studies at Citipointe Christian College and completed her Bachelor of Business at the University of Queensland, with majors in human resource management and events. Her country town upbringing and Christian faith continue to influence the high value she places on family and community.

She is genuinely invested in people and prides herself on creating trusted relationships with others. Tegan demonstrates this personally and professionally and is a loyal friend to many and a great encouragement to those within her professional network. For fifteen years Tegan has worked in people management and stakeholder engagement in both private and government roles, but most recently as a small business owner.

Tegan has been married for five years to her husband Mark and together they have a two-year-old son and one-year-old daughter. They juggle parenthood and work while renovating their post-war home in Brisbane’s bayside.
