If you share the LDP's dislike of high taxes and excessive regulation, you should join. The only certain outcome from doing nothing is nothing changes.

There are two categories of membership - Honorary and Financial.

Honorary members can attend party conferences but not vote.

Financial members can vote at conferences and be elected to positions of responsibility.

Financial membership costs $70 ($35 for pensioners, concession, etc).

Joining the LDP helps achieve registration as a political party. We require many more members to achieve registration in all states.

Joining as a Financial member also contributes to the party's performance in elections.
